Endometriosis represents a microcosm of gendered healthcare locally, nationally and internationally. It’s impacts are wide-ranging not just at an individual level - pain, fertility, ability to learn & earn - but also for places of learning and workplaces, so a significant drag on the whole economy.
We have to be hopeful that we can achieve the changes - individual, community and systemic - that are desperately and deservedly needed.
